The advice on vaping is clear. Nicotine vaping is substantially less harmful than smoking and it’s also one of the most effective tools for quitting.

Vaping is not completely harmless, and it’s only recommended for adult smokers to quit tobacco smoking.

Tobacco is lethal, there is no safe usage level. By swapping to a vape, you will significantly improve your health and then you can cut down the nicotine content gradually and on your own terms, until you are no longer dependant.

Most quit smoking services offer the option of a vape, which they will support you to use and then gradually phase out completely.

When you smoke cigarettes, they release thousands of bad chemicals into your body. Most are toxic, with up to 70 of the chemicals causing cancer and many others known to cause lung disease, heart disease, or stroke.

Vapes don’t have most of these harmful chemicals, like tar and carbon monoxide.
